Wilkinson's House of Lighting was founded in St. George, Utah in 1945 by Kay W. Wilkinson,
starting as a small electrical contractor and a provider of electrical appliances and lighting
fixtures. Since then, Wilkinson's House of Lighting has emerged to become one of the most
respected electrical contractors in the Western United States.
From its beginning over 65 years ago, Wilkinson's House of Lighting has been led by a member of
the Wilkinson family. In 1970, Randy W. Wilkinson, Kay's son, graduated from Brigham Young University
with an MBA and was named the general manager. In 1974, the company was incorporated with Randy
becoming the company president.
Today, Wilkinson's House of Lighting's experience and integrity runs three generations deep.
Wilkinson's House of Lighting has come to be recognized for its wide selection of
lighting and its continued commitment to excellence.
